Eastern Mediterranean Ports...

Athens (Piraeus), Greece
Athens emerged during the Classical Age, in the 5th century BC, as the most prominent city-state in Greece. It is located in the southernmost region of Central Greece, and is the port city where most begin their tours of the popular Greek islands. It is situated in a basin surrounded by four mountains: Mt. Hymettos to the east, Mt. Parnis and Mt. Aigaleo to the West, and Mt. Pendeli to the north. It is home to countless Archaeologicalsites, museums, and social attractions.

Corfu, Greece
Corfu is arguably the most beautiful of the Ionian Islands. It is set in the northern Ionian Sea at the entrance to the Adriatic. Today, the 100,000 citizens of Corfu offer their land to tourists at a high price, but anyone who has been to the island would argue that it is well worth it. Corfu's tremendous turquoise beaches tantalize, and the lovely land's allure leaves you wanting more. But if the sun-drenched landscape is not sufficient, the island's rich history and reputation for hospitality are sure to please you. Because the land is somewhat divided, it is well equipped to please a wide range of tourists.

Dubrovnik, Croatia
The extraordinary beauty of Dubrovnik, "the city made of stone and light," has inspired countless such poetic exclamations. Part of its mystery is that it lies hidden between the Adriatic and Dinaric Alps. It has been fortunate to have recovered from many of the wounds from the Bosnian War and Serbian gunfire in 1991 and 1992. Dubrovnik, located on the shores of the Adriatic, found relative peace even when there was chaos going on all around it. The waters show off perfect shades of blue and the sunsets are wild from atop the 14th century city walls. Dubrovnik truly draws you into a dream that you simply never want to wake from.

Istanbul, Turkey
A crossroads of civilization throughout history, this ancient city literally serves as the bridge between Europe and Asia and lies at the head of the busy Bosphorus Strait where it joins the Black Sea. Busy, beautiful and almost overwhelming in the richness of its history, art and culture, Istanbul rates as a "must visit" destination.
Limassol, Cyprus
Limassol is the closest thing to a magical and mythical land. It has a coastline that is pristine, especially when kissed by the setting sun. Many other spectacular views abound, along with the archaeological sights that wait to be discovered. Limassol is known as the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite. To be precise, she was thought to have emerged from the foaming sea at the temple to Apollo and Petra tou Romiou. This story inspired many poets and painters to come visit this scenic land.
Mykonos, Greece
Mykonos is only ten miles long, making it one of the smallest of the Cyclades Islands. Visitors from other islands find Mikonos to be a lovely change of pace and atmosphere. Its dry, rough topography makes its radiant beaches all the more inviting, and its air is clean and warm. Mikonos has earned the reputation of being a cosmopolitan island that draws an enormous number of tourists to its sandy beaches and hilly terrain. It is quite a dynamic place, attracting all types of travelers depending on the seasons. During the early summer months, it is a hot spot for party-seeking college students. But during the off-peak months, Mykonos transforms into a haven for sophisticated tourists, artists, and intellectuals seeking to vacation in the midst of beauty.
Venice, Italy
Considered by many to be the most romantic city in the world, Venice is famous for its canals and the grand Piazza San Marco.
