Offering more than just the Panama Canal, San Blas Islands are just off the north Coast of Panama. The island society is mostly that of the Cuna who are Native Americans. People of simplicity and charm, they comfortably reside in thatched hut villages. Although fish is a staple for this independent tribe, they also cultivate coconut, corn, rice, cocoa and yucca.
